Reinforced concrete yard extension made to The Cobble Shop’s headquarters at Stewarton to help expand storage facilities of decorative aggregates. Groundworks, reform levels, installation of ACO drainage, formwork, concrete supply, lay & finish all carried out by our in house groundworks & concrete squads. Slab poured in sections to allow the safe absorption of temperature-induced expansion & contraction, expansion cuts @ 6mtr centres. Final finish was left smooth with edge banding for ease of sweeping and cleaning. All areas were prepared and poured with a gradient to allow surface water run-off.
